This Tuesday is World Suicide Prevention Day. The Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC), in partnership with the Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention (CASP), is holding an event on Parliament Hill. This event will provide an opportunity for the public to be a part of the discussion on ways to prevent suicide. If you are interested in attending I have attached their flyer (click here for flyer).
If you or a loved one are experiencing suicidal thoughts and are in danger of hurting yourself contact emergency services (911). If you are feeling suicidal and would like to speak to someone right away, you can call the 24 hour Distress Centre line at (613) 238-3311. If you have questions about how to get help for yourself or a loved one and would be interested in receiving counselling call me at (613) 404-3232.

As the summer wraps up and we move into the fall season many of you have expressed interest in attending evening sessions. I am happy be able to oblige by offering Monday and Wednesday evening sessions. If these evenings do not suit you please email me or call me (613) 404-3232 and we can work on something that works for both of us. As always, I continue to offer morning and afternoon sessions as well.
